By faith we believe in those things which we do not see. We believe in the existence of objects which are invisible, and we are influenced by them. By searching, we will find evidence that will assure faith in those thing you cannot see.
Heat rises from a surface upward. However it is not seen unless conditions allow. That does not mean that the heated air does not exist. We can discover evidence of the heated air if we look closer. We can feel warmth if we reach out our hand to it.
2 Corinthians 5:7 (For we walk by faith, not by sight) 8We are confident, I say, and willing rather to be absent from the body, and to be present with the Lord.
The believer is well assured by faith that there is another life after this one is ended. In the days in which Jesus walked on the Earth in flesh, he told his disciples that they were seeing and hearing things that others had to take on faith.
Matthew 13:16 But blessed are your eyes, for they see: and your ears, for they hear. 17For verily I say unto you, That many prophets and righteous men have desired to see those things which ye see, and have not seen them; and to hear those things which ye hear, and have not heard them.
But we will see Jesus face to face when we die.
1 Corinthians 13:12 For now we see through a glass, darkly; but then face to face: now I know in part; but then shall I know even as also I am known.
Paul here alluded to the imperfect and discolored glass which was in use in the Christian era.
Not Blind Faith but by Evidence
The Bible teaches that the proof of faith is evidence. Faith in God can be based upon strong, clear, logical, evidence. Faith is not a blind leap in the dark. God provides the evidence for belief through fulfilled prophecy, historical facts and the Word of God. Those that will search for evidence will find mountains of it. We want to examine here the Fingerprint of God.
Word of God
If you just take the books within the Bible and analyze them, you will find that they follow a structure that many call the Fingerprint of God. While the study of these heptadic structures of sevens and multiples of sevens could fill volumes, most people do not even know they exist.
Dr. Ivan Panin discovered the heptadic structure and spent a lifetime studying the structures and codes of the Bible. Ivan Panin left volumes of notes that are slowly being lost to time. Ivan Panin was born in Russia on Dec 12, 1855. He was a mathematical genius. Dr. Panin was a Harvard scholar and became a citizen of the United States.
Dr. Panin demonstrated that every writer of Scripture was either an unparalleled literary and mathematical genius, or that the writers of the books of the Bible wrote, guided by the Holy Spirit. The Bible is like an onion, layers inside layers.
Example:
If you were told to write a story about a child born in Israel, his lifetime and death, could you do it?
What if the rules said the story had to conform to a heptadic structure of 7s in Greek?
Divisible by 7:
Number of Words —– Divisible by 7
Number of Letters —– Divisible by 7
Number of Vowels —– Divisible by 7
Could you write it now?
Number of Consonants —– Divisible by 7
Number of Word that begin with Vowel —– Divisible by 7
Number of Words that begin with a Consonant —– Divisible by 7
Number of Words that occur in more than one form —– Divisible by 7
Number of Words that occur more than once —– Divisible by 7
Number of Nouns —– Divisible by 7
Number of Names —– Divisible by 7
Get the picture! The Word of God is special if you analyze and study it. Matthew, Mark Luke, John, Peter, Jude, and Paul all exhibit the heptadic structure.
Not only is there a heptadic structure of 7s encoded in the books of the Bible, there is also literal 7s in the text. In the Book of Revelation we see some of these 7s:
Seven Lamp Stands | Seven Angels |
Seven Spirits | Seven Thunders |
Seven Stars | Seven Heads |
Seven Lamps | Seven Crowns |
Seven Horns | Seven Plagues |
Seven Eyes | Seven Mountains |
Seven Kings | Seven Years |
There are also embedded Equal Letter Sequences of later books in previous books. Did you know that the characters in the book of Ruth are embedded in the book of Genesis, chapter 38 based on a 49 letter skip (7 x 7)?
People have used computers to search for Bible Codes, but have made a mockery of the real data. The real embedded data is actually sections of later books of the Bible.
Isaiah 53 the suffering Messiah chapter lists all the disciples, Mary, Jesus and most of the characters in the Book of Matthew.
The example given above lists the main characters of the Book of Ruth embedded in the book of Genesis, chapter 38. The Book of Ruth also contains an embedded secret also. The knowledge of the embedded names in Genesis 38 are references in the marriage toast in Ruth 4:12.
Ruth 4:12 And let thy house be like the house of Pharez, whom Tamar bare unto Judah, of the seed which the LORD shall give thee of this young woman.
The tradition is that the Book of Ruth was written by the Prophet Samuel. Did Samuel know about the embedded names in Genesis 38 whose author was Moses? Ultimately, the author of Genesis was God, working through Moses and the author of Ruth was God working through Samuel. Genesis 38 is the story about Tamar and Judah the mother and father of Pharez. So the Fingerprint of God as the guiding hand behind the Genesis and Ruth is revealed. The following video provides more detail:
The Bible is it’s own evidence if you want to see it.
Historical Evidence
Writing outside of the Bible mirror the events and people listed in the Word.
The discoveries of archeology can be helpful in removing doubts. The miracles described, as well as the spiritual message, must be accepted on faith, but most of the events of the works of God have been captured and exist in archaeological finds.
The Merneptah Stele, dated to about 1206 B.C.E. and now housed at the Cairo Museum, offers the earliest historical evidence of a people called Israel.
The inscription on a tablet found at Tel Dan, which dates to about 840 B.C.E., clearly mentions a “House of David.”
There are thousands of Biblical Archaeological discoveries. If you look you will find mountains of evidence. However the Bible and Prophecy are evidence you can hold in your own hand and examine.
Prophecy
Approximately 2500 prophecies appear in the pages of the Bible, about 2000 of which already have been fulfilled to the letter. The Bible accurately foretells specific events in precise detail many years, sometimes centuries, before they have occurred. The odds for all these prophecies having been fulfilled by chance without error is one in 102000 .

2 Thessalonians 2:11 And for this cause God shall send them strong delusion, that they should believe a lie: 12That they all might be damned who believed not the truth, but had pleasure in unrighteousness.
