The re-establishment of Israel on May 15th<\/sup> 1948 was actually foretold by God 2520 Hebrew years before the event. In this article we are going to examine the prophecy that foretold the rebirth of Israel foretold by God. Israel became a nation at midnight May 14th ending, in 1948, upon the termination of the British mandate. <\/span><\/p>\n

The Summer Season<\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n

There have been many prophecies concerning Israel that have come to pass with exact accuracy that can’t be dismissed as random by even the weakest person of faith: <\/span><\/p>\n

Like the Garden of Eden – Ezekiel 36:33-35<\/span><\/p>\n

Matthew 24:<\/span><\/span>32<\/a> <\/strong>Now learn a parable of the fig tree; When his branch is yet tender, and putteth forth leaves, ye know that summer <\/strong><\/span>is<\/strong><\/span><\/em> nigh<\/strong><\/span>: 33<\/strong><\/a>So likewise ye, when ye shall see all these things, know that it is near, even<\/em> at the doors. 34<\/strong><\/a>Verily I say unto you, This generation shall not pass, till all these things be fulfilled.<\/p>\n

Jesus is commanding you to learn about the restoration of the fig tree nation Israel and know that when you see it coming alive again, that you are in the end times season. He does not want you to be deceived and fall prey to Satan in the last days.<\/span><\/p>\n

 <\/p>\n

The season of <\/span>summer<\/strong><\/span> is just before the fall harvest. After the harvest comes the Winter:<\/span><\/p>\n

 <\/p>\n

Matthew 24:20<\/a> <\/strong><\/span>But pray ye that your flight be not in the winter, neither on the sabbath day: <\/span>21<\/strong><\/span><\/a>For then shall be <\/span>great tribulation, such as was not since the beginning of the world<\/span><\/span> to this time, no, nor ever shall be.<\/span><\/p>\n

If you see the abomination of desolation<\/strong><\/span> (antichrist) standing on the Temple Mount in Jerusalem, you know it is Summer<\/strong><\/span>. Late Summer-Fall is the season of the harvest of the bride (Church). Winter comes next and the start of the wrath being poured out:<\/span><\/p>\n

Matthew 24:15<\/a> <\/strong><\/span>When ye therefore shall see the <\/span>abomination of desolation<\/strong><\/span>, spoken of by Daniel the prophet, stand in the holy place, (whoso readeth, let him understand:)<\/span><\/p>\n

2 Thessalonians 2:3<\/a> <\/strong><\/span>Let no man deceive you by any means: for <\/span>that day shall not come<\/em><\/span>, except there come a falling away first, and that man of sin be revealed, the son of perdition; <\/span>4<\/strong><\/span><\/a>Who opposeth and exalteth himself above all that is called God, or that is worshipped; <\/span>so that he as God sitteth in the temple of God<\/strong><\/span><\/span>, shewing himself that he is God. <\/span><\/p>\n

Daniel 9:27<\/a> <\/strong><\/span>And he shall confirm the covenant with many for one week: and in the midst of the week he shall cause the sacrifice and the oblation to cease, and for the overspreading of <\/span>abominations he shall make <\/strong><\/span>it<\/strong><\/em><\/span> desolate<\/strong><\/span>, even until the consummation, and that determined shall be poured upon the desolate. <\/span><\/p>\n

Daniel 11:31<\/a> <\/strong><\/span>And arms shall stand on his part, and they shall pollute the sanctuary of strength, and shall take away the daily <\/span>sacrifice<\/em><\/span>, and they shall place the <\/span>abomination that maketh desolate<\/strong><\/span>. <\/span><\/p>\n

Daniel 12:11<\/a> <\/strong><\/span>And from the time <\/span>that<\/em><\/span> the daily <\/span>sacrifice<\/em><\/span> shall be taken away, and the <\/span>abomination that maketh desolate<\/strong><\/span> set up, <\/span>there shall be<\/em><\/span> a thousand two hundred and ninety days. <\/span>12<\/strong><\/span><\/a>Blessed <\/span>is<\/em><\/span> he that waiteth, and cometh to the thousand three hundred and five and thirty days. <\/span>13<\/strong><\/span><\/a>But go thou thy way till the end <\/span>be<\/em><\/span>: for thou shalt rest, and stand in thy lot at the end of the days. <\/span><\/p>\n

\u00a01290 \/ 360 = 3.5 years and 30 extra days…<\/p>\n

1335 \/ 360 = 3.5 years and \u00a075 extra days…<\/p>\n

<\/a>God’s prophecies in the book of Daniel of the kingdoms and empires of Babylon, Persia, Greece and Rome all came to pass in minute detail. So why do Christians doubt the other prophecies concerning the end times?<\/span><\/p>\n

 <\/p>\n

Jesus told his disciples:<\/span><\/p>\n

Mark 13:32<\/a> <\/strong><\/span>But of that day and <\/span>that<\/em><\/span> hour knoweth no man, no, not the angels which are in heaven, neither the Son, but the Father. <\/span><\/p>\n

This verse also found in Matthew 24 and Luke 21 is used by Christian to somehow believe that Jesus wanted them to be blind of any information concerning the season of his return. However 1\/3 of the Bible focuses on the return of Jesus and the events that happen in the last days. The prophecy in Ezekiel that gives the exact year of the rebirth of Israel combined with the command from Jesus to learn the parable of the fig tree, is a signal to those who have ears to hear. We should not date set or dwell on determining the exact day, but we should not be blind or ignore the command of Jesus either.<\/span><\/p>\n

Prophecy of the Restoration of Israel<\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n

 <\/p>\n

Ezekiel was taken to Babylon along with Daniel when the 70 year punishment was given by God on the people descended from Jacob (Israel).<\/span><\/p>\n

Jeremiah 25:11<\/a> <\/strong>And this whole land shall be a desolation, and<\/em> an astonishment; and these nations shall serve the king of Babylon seventy years.<\/p>\n

 <\/p>\n

Ezekiel was known in the land of Babylon as a prophet and was special enough for God to make a trip to talk to him in person:<\/span><\/p>\n

 <\/p>\n

Ezekiel 2:1<\/a> <\/strong>And he said unto me, Son of man, stand upon thy feet, and I will speak unto thee. 2<\/strong><\/a>And the spirit entered into me when he spake unto me, and set me upon my feet, that I heard him that spake unto me. 3<\/strong><\/a>And he said unto me, Son of man, I send thee to the children of Israel, to a rebellious nation that hath rebelled against me: they and their fathers have transgressed against me, even<\/em> unto this very day.<\/p>\n

God makes it clear to Ezekiel in chapter 3 that he is a watchman and is warning the people so they can be ready: <\/span><\/p>\n

Ezekiel 3:17<\/a> <\/strong><\/span>Son of man, I have made thee a watchman unto the house of Israel: therefore hear the word at my mouth, and give them warning from me. <\/span>18<\/strong><\/span><\/a>When I say unto the wicked, Thou shalt surely die; and thou givest him not warning, nor speakest to warn the wicked from his wicked way, to save his life; the same wicked <\/span>man<\/em><\/span> shall die in his iniquity; but his blood will I require at thine hand. <\/span>19<\/strong><\/span><\/a>Yet if thou warn the wicked, and he turn not from his wickedness, nor from his wicked way, he shall die in his iniquity; but thou hast delivered thy soul. <\/span>20<\/strong><\/span><\/a>Again, When a righteous <\/span>man<\/em><\/span> doth turn from his righteousness, and commit iniquity, and I lay a stumblingblock before him, he shall die: because thou hast not given him warning, he shall die in his sin, and his righteousness which he hath done shall not be remembered; but his blood will I require at thine hand. <\/span>21<\/strong><\/span><\/a>Nevertheless if thou warn the righteous <\/span>man<\/em><\/span>, that the righteous sin not, and he doth not sin, he shall surely live, because he is warned; also thou hast delivered thy soul. <\/span><\/p>\n

The book of Ezekiel is one of the main books in the study of eschatology (End Times), because the prophecies that have already occurred were so exact and accurate. This lets us know that the future prophecies in this book will also be exact and accurate. When the watchman sees the end of the prophecy and the fig tree nation putting forth green new leaves, he is told to warn the people.<\/span><\/p>\n

 <\/p>\n

Ezekiel is told by God to act out the prophecy by lying on a mat so the people can see:<\/span><\/p>\n

Ezekiel 4:4<\/a> <\/strong><\/span>Lie thou also upon thy left side, and lay the iniquity of the house of Israel upon it: <\/span>according<\/em><\/span> to the number of the days that thou shalt lie upon it thou shalt bear their iniquity. <\/span>5<\/strong><\/span><\/a>For I have laid upon thee the years of their iniquity, according to the number of the days, three hundred and ninety days: so shalt thou bear the iniquity of the house of Israel. <\/span>6<\/strong><\/span><\/a>And when thou hast accomplished them, lie again on thy right side, and thou shalt bear the iniquity of the house of Judah forty days: <\/span>I have appointed thee each day for a year<\/span><\/span>.<\/span><\/p>\n

Over the years most people have read this and never made the connection with the punishment of Israel and 1948. However this prophecy as simple as it is, is profound. God is telling Ezekiel exactly how many years the house of Israel will be scattered and punished.<\/span><\/p>\n

Lets look at the details:<\/span><\/p>\n

70 years punishment Jeremiah 25:11<\/span><\/p>\n

606 BC Captivity by Nebuchadnessar (Dates from Cyrus Cylinder and Cuneiform Tablets)<\/span><\/p>\n

537 BC Month of Nissan – Cyrus releases Israel from captivity \u2013 Ezra 7:9<\/span><\/p>\n

 <\/p>\n

Ezra 7:9<\/a> NLT – He had arranged to leave Babylon on April 8, the first day of the new year, and he arrived at Jerusalem on August 4, for the gracious hand of his God was on him.<\/p>\n

 <\/p>\n

The people will be punished 7 Times multiplied if you don’t repent and remain rebellious \u2013 God’s promise Leviticus 26:17<\/span><\/p>\n

Leviticus26:17<\/a> <\/strong>And I will set my face against you, and ye shall be slain before your enemies: they that hate you shall reign over you; and ye shall flee when none pursueth you. 18<\/strong><\/a>And if ye will not yet for all this hearken unto me, then I will punish you seven times more for your sins.<\/p>\n

If God was going to multiply the punishment times 7 we get 2520 Hebrew Years:<\/span><\/p>\n

+40 Days Lie on the right side<\/span><\/p>\n

= 430 Day Each day for a year<\/span><\/p>\n

-70 Already served captive in Babylon<\/span><\/p>\n

= 360 Years <\/span><\/p>\n

x 7 Multiplied punishment for not repenting Leviticus 26:18<\/span><\/p>\n

= 2520 Hebrew Years<\/span><\/p>\n

 <\/p>\n

Cyrus released the people in 536 ~ 537BC according to the records found in archeology.<\/span><\/p>\n

A Hebrew Year is 360 days not 365 days based on the number of moons in each month.<\/span><\/p>\n

 <\/p>\n

2520 Years<\/span><\/p>\n

x360 Days in a Year<\/span><\/p>\n

= 907200 Days<\/span><\/p>\n

 <\/p>\n

Israel became a nation at midnight May 14th ending, in 1948, upon the termination of the British mandate.<\/span><\/p>\n

 <\/p>\n

If we work backwards from May 14, 1948 and using the 907,200 days we find the following:<\/span><\/p>\n

We know from the book of Ezra that the people had already made it from Babylon to Jerusalem by October. The Hebrew calendar year starts with the Gregorian calendar month April.<\/span><\/p>\n

Ezra 3:6<\/a> <\/strong><\/span><\/span>From the first day of the seventh month began they to offer burnt offerings unto the LORD. But the foundation of the temple of the LORD was not <\/span><\/span>yet<\/em><\/span><\/span> laid. <\/span><\/span>7<\/strong><\/span><\/span><\/a>They gave money also unto the masons, and to the carpenters; and meat, and drink, and oil, unto them of Zidon, and to them of Tyre, to bring cedar trees from Lebanon to the sea of Joppa, according to the grant that they had of Cyrus king of Persia. <\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

July 21st<\/sup> 537 BC definitely meets the year as God said: \u201cI have appointed thee each day for a year\u201d. There is no absolute data to point to the exact day in archeology, however from the calculation based on Julian Days, July 21st<\/sup> 537 BC is 907200 days backward in time from May 15, 1948.<\/span><\/p>\n

 <\/p>\n

When Jesus says: \u201cThis generation shall not pass, till all these things be fulfilled\u201d, he is telling us that the generation born in 1948 will not pass away until all the things he mentioned in Matthew 24, Mark 13, and Luke 21are all fulfilled. We are living in that generation of the fig tree today. This prophecy should open the eyes of those who live carelessly and feel they need not worry about the return of the Lord.<\/span><\/p>\n
